Bobby Hernandez started this company in 2005 with one truck, one set of tools, and one rule: never tell a customer they need something they don't. He'd spent eight years working for larger HVAC outfits in Charlotte and grew tired of the pressure to upsell units that had years of life left in them.
So he went out on his own. The first year was lean — mostly referrals from neighbors and a few Craigslist calls. But word spread fast. Bobby showed up on time, explained what he found, charged fairly, and cleaned up when he was done. By 2008 he had two vans. By 2012, a full crew of six technicians.
Today Bobby's HVAC employs twelve people, all Charlotte locals. Bobby still goes on calls. He still answers his own phone on nights and weekends. And the rule hasn't changed.
